Fern & Fox is two chairs above a bookshop on Regent Street. Nia opened it in 2019 after fifteen years in bigger salons, on the simple theory that people would rather be looked after properly than processed quickly.
We keep the diary deliberately light so appointments are not stacked on top of each other. There is good coffee, the radio is never on too loud, and nobody will try to sell you a product you do not need.
The first place I have been where I did not feel rushed out of the chair.

Colour and restyling
Fifteen years in larger salons before opening Fern & Fox, and still happiest doing the slow work: corrective colour, growing out a bad decision, or talking someone gently out of a fringe. Takes a consultation seriously and will say no if a colour will not sit well on you.
Cutting and barbering
Joined in 2022 from a barbershop on Park Street and brought half its regulars with him. Precise with short hair, patient with children, and the reason we now open until six on Thursdays.
Nearest parking is the Regent Street pay and display, two minutes' walk. The studio is up one flight of stairs; if that is difficult, tell us when you book and we will arrange the ground floor room.
